Our Mission Possible for May and June focuses on helping students at Academy Prep have access to meals during the summer months.
During the school year, students receive regular meals at school. When summer begins, that support isn’t available in the same way. This is a simple and meaningful way we can help fill that gap.
We are collecting easy-to-prepare, non-perishable breakfast and lunch items to help create summer food baskets for these students.
Suggested items include:
Tuna or other protein items
Peanut butter
Jelly
Ramen noodles
Cereal cups
Instant oatmeal
Instant grits
Microwavable mashed potatoes
Granola bars
Mac and cheese cups
Breakfast bars
Microwavable soups
Items should be easy to open and easy to prepare.
Donations can be placed in the red Mission Possible cart at the chapel entrance.
Our main collection runs through June 14, giving us time to sort and deliver everything before the end of the school year.
Every item makes a difference, and together we can support students in our community this summer.
